Native Detroiter Trina Govan Scott is passionate about people and driven to create a work environment where team members are comfortable being themselves.

As Vice President of Quicken Loans Family of Companies Diversity and Inclusion, Trina develops the strategy and infrastructure that foster a culture of inclusivity and diverse perspectives. She is passionate about people and creating a work environment grounded in collaboration and freedom for self-expression. She also seeks to build positive connections between the Quicken Loans Family of Companies and local communities, by helping to attract and engage top diverse talent.

Trina joined the Quicken Loans Family of Companies in early 2017 after 10 years with a public accounting firm where she focused on corporate social responsibility and rolled out diversity and inclusion initiatives at the company’s three office locations.

Trina is innately passionate about the community and committed to providing underserved young people with the resources necessary to flourish both personally and professionally.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Oakland University where she also competed on the school’s women’s basketball team and is a Certified Fraud Examiner. She serves on the Detroit PAL board and Midnight Golf Program advisory board.

Trina resides in Michigan with her husband and daughter, and enjoys spending free time with family, friends and giving back to the community.

About Jim Livingston

Jim Livingston is the Vice President of Talent Acquisition and Compensation at Quicken Loans, the nation’s largest residential home lender. He leads a team of dedicated recruiting professionals who recruit for all areas of the business inside of Quicken Loans and Family of Companies. Jim joined Quicken Loans in 2002 after earning his bachelor’s degree from Hillsdale college in financial management and Spanish. He began his journey as a dedicated mortgage professional when he realized his passion was leadership and became a Director of Mortgage Banking in 2006. Through his tenacity and dedication to Quicken Loans, he was promoted to senior leadership and in January of 2014, was promoted to Vice President of Mortgage Banking. Along the way he’s been a mentor to many team members which in turn has helped each of them grow their business and advance in their careers. In August 2017, Jim was promoted to the Vice President of Talent Acquisition, and later in 2019 he took on the Compensation team as well. He looks forward to growing the organization by attracting, engaging and retaining top diverse talent. Outside of the office, Jim enjoys spending time with his wife Leigha, and their three children.

KimArie joined the QL team in 2013 and is the VP of Talent Development. In her current role, she is responsible for leading her team to create sustainable and holistic development programs for all team members. This includes the onboarding process, team member development, organizational development, organizational engagement, and leadership development. She has more than 20 years of experience in client service, sales, and corporate education, focused on ensuring organizations were successful. She has an intense passion for the development of people and helping them achieve their true potential. She firmly believes that one’s ability to effectively lead their team members and make an impact rests on their ability to be inclusive, build trust, and create a dynamic and high performing team. She holds a BA in Business from Wayne State University, an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and an MSA from the University of Texas.
